About Us

Hostal Zócalo is located in the heart of Mérida, Yucatán, facing the Plaza Grande and next to the house of the conquistador Francisco de Montejo. The place that houses Hostal Zócalo was once home to the renowned Merida poet and playwright, Peón Contreras.



At Restaurante Zócalo, we offer a variety of special dishes and Yucatecan snacks, enhancing the experience of living in Mérida. We also have tables overlooking the Plaza Grande.
